Welcome to Pupit app

Pupit is an online-based  application that allows you to generate a unique video content.

This privacy policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their 'Personally identifiable information' (PII) is being used online. PII, as used in India privacy law and information security, is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context. Please read our privacy policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect or otherwise handle your Personally Identifiable Information in accordance with our App.

What personal information do we collect from the people that visit our website or app?

We will not collect any personally identifiable information about you unless it is in response to you using our app or actively registering for one of our online products. The security of your personally identifiable information is extremely important to us.  

This Privacy Policy is regularly reviewed to make sure that we continue to serve your privacy interests and we reserve the right to update it as we deem necessary. 

  1. Information we collect

We collect from you the following data:

1.1 Information you provide us directly. When you use our Services, we collect the information that you provide us directly:

Photos . We may collect the photos that you upload from your mobile device while using our application.

Audios. We may collect the audio that you upload from your mobile device while using our application.

Facial features. We may collect the facial feature data separately from your photos only to generate video. Please note, we collect the facial feature data that is not biometric data.

1.2. Usage data. When you use our Services, we may collect information about your activity within our Services, for example, which pages you have viewed and for how long. We may also collect information regarding the device and operation system, information about your wireless and mobile network connections and time zone.

2. How We Use Information

  We may use the information to:

- provide, improve, test, and monitor the effectiveness of our Services;
- perform troubleshooting, diagnose or fix technology problems;
- enhance the safety and security of the Services;
- monitor and analyze trends and usage;
- develop and test new features of the Services;
- understand your needs and provide services and advertisements that are relevant to you;
- use the information we’ve collected from cookies and similar technologies to enhance our Services and your experience with them.

Uploaded Content is collected for its display in the library for the user’s repeated use and convenience of the Services usage. Uploaded Content is stored at the on-line secured data storage and displayed to you exclusively during your use of the Services. By submitting this content for the swapping you expressly agree for its collection and storage as set forth herein. In no way will Pupit use your Uploaded Content for face recognition, as Pupit does not introduce the face recognition technologies or other technical means for processing of biometric data for the unique identification or authentication of a user.

If Pupit decides to change the purposes of processing specified above, we will inform you on such changes prior to use your personal information within the newly set purposes and ask for your separate consent if required by the applicable laws.

3. Whom we may share your information with

3.1. For the above purposes, we may share your information with the following third parties.  Please note that any third parties’ use of your personal data will be governed by their own privacy policies and give rise to separate obligations under applicable data protection laws.  We suggest that you carefully review any third party privacy policies that may apply to you.  

3.2.Third parties that may receive your information include:

3.2.1. our payment services providers (i) PayPal (UK) Limited, (ii) Stripe Inc; and (iii) Chargebee Inc;

3.2.4. where you have agreed, to our refer-a-friend scheme provider, solely to enable your participation in the refer-a-friend scheme

3.2.6. Any entity to which we are under a duty to disclose or share your information in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our Terms and other legal requirements; or to protect our rights, property, or safety, our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction. 

4. Storage and Security of Information

5.1. All information is stored on our secure servers. When you register, we will ask you to choose a password which enables you to access the video generation content. You are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share this password with anyone.

5.2. In addition, we (or third parties acting on our behalf) may also store or process information that we collect about you in countries outside the United Kingdom or outside the European Economic Area, which may have different standards of data protection than in the UK. Specifically, servers used by our Website are located in the Republic of Ireland and we work with Course providers and third party service providers around the world. We have put in place technical and organisational security measures to prevent the loss or unauthorised access of your personal information. However, whilst we have used our best efforts to ensure the security of your data, it is your responsibility to make an informed decision to avail yourself of our services and products or if your concerns about the handling of data require you to refrain from using our app.

 

5. Data Retention

5.1. We retain personal information we collect from you where we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so (for example, to provide you with a service you have requested or to comply with applicable legal, tax or accounting requirements).

5.2. When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymise it or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

6. Your Rights

6.1. You have the following data protection rights:

6.1.1. You can edit your personal details via your profile page whenever you wish.  We maintain a procedure in order to help you confirm that your personal information remains correct and up-to-date or choose whether or not you wish to receive material from us or some of our partners.

6.1.2. In addition, you can object to processing of your personal information, ask us to restrict processing of your personal information or request portability of your personal information. Again, you can exercise these rights by contacting us.

6.1.3. Similarly, if we have collected and process your personal information on the basis of your consent, then you can withdraw your consent at any time.  Withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing we conducted prior to your withdrawal, nor will it affect processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.

8. Updating this Privacy Policy

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time if doing so will be deemed necessary in order to comply with the applicable laws and actual circumstances of the functioning of the Services, so please periodically check this page to ensure that you’re satisfied with any changes. Additional notifications on any amendments will be displayed or otherwise communicated to you when using the Services after the amendments were made. If within one week after such notification has been shown to you, you continue to use the Services, you will be considered as having accepted all the amendments made, unless there is an obligation imposed on Pupit by an applicable law to obtain your explicit consent to the amendments. This can be a case when, for example, the nature of your data processing and purposes for processing change.
